Rick and Joan welcome you to Dalvey, an elegant Victorian house offering accommodation in Perth, Scotland. Sufficiently far out of town for a very comfortable night's rest, our B&B is only a short walk through the park to shops, theatre, and local resturants. Off-street parking is available.

Perth, Scotland is a thriving small city by the River Tay in beautiful Perthshire. With its superb parklands, Georgian terraces, and vibrant city centre. In the summer months, specialist shops and household name stores happily share well-kept streets adorned with floral displays ensuring we are often the pick of the bunch at the annual Britain in Bloom awards. Perth, Scotland is situated close to the geographical heart of the nation and is known as the Gateway to the Highlands.

With 90% of the Scottish population within ninety minutes travel, it is the ideal location as a base for touring the rest of Scotland.

 

In about half an hour you could reach Glamis Castle, Scone Palace, Falkland Palace, Dunkeld and Blair Castle.

 

Within a short one hour drive from our B & B, you can explore the most beautiful Angus Glens of Clova, Isla and Prosen. Glenshee, Braemar and Balmoral take around two hours.  

 

If you would like to sample quality Scottish Whisky then we are within an hour’s drive of several distilleries.

What to do from your Perth base

 

If you like shopping then why not take a day out in Perth, Dundee, Glasgow, Edinburgh or Stirling. They are all within easy reach by road, rail or bus. You could maybe cross the River Tay and head for the historic town of St Andrews.

 

Keen golfers will appreciate the famous Links courses in  St Andrews and  local Perth and Gleneagles courses. There are many opportunities for walking and cycling in Perthshire.
